About CORE.
CORE. is a Pilates Studio created by local native Stephanie Lacefield designed to meet clients where they are and bring strength and fluidity to their bodies one class at a time. Intentional movement. Stephanie has a classical background and has been teaching on all apparatus for over 18 years. We offer personalized Reformer Pilates from beginner to advanced students. Our Sculpt classes incorporate kettlebells, resistance bands, weights, barre and Rebounders to add an endurance building & strength training workout without the impact on your joints. All of our Sculpt & mat classes are Pilates inspired while our Reformer room follows the classical format of Pilates. Private sessions always suggested prior to taking a class for the benefit of the client to understand cueing for their body awareness. CORE is dedicated to teaching you to use your body in the day to day life not just during your Pilates session. We want you to leave your session feeling better and stronger each time. Join us for one of our many classes to help ignite your body and find your CORE.
Meet Stephanie
Stephanie Lacefield has been teaching Classical Pilates on all apparatus since 2008. Stephanie is fully Comprehensively certified through Peak Pilates & Speir Pilates. She is a Master Instructor for FitCore Pilates through Peak Pilates. She has over 40,000 teaching hours working with healthy bodies & extremely injured bodies. “The bodies are amazing. I have enjoyed watching a body really come back to life. There are so many adjustments that can be made to keep a body safe.” Over the course since she began teaching she has also acquired certifications on the chair apparatus, Prenatal and Post natal certifications, Jump Sport certifications, Magic Circle certifications and many Anatomy courses and fitness conferences to continue and further her education. Stephanie loves to work with her instructors at CORE regularly to help them improve their understanding of the method. “It really is an endless amount of learning the good stuff. Learning to watch the bodies is key. They tell you so much. I truly love to see when clients have their aha moments.” Stephanie’s passion is to not just teach Pilates but to teach the mind body connection. Which is truly a magnificent connection once you learn to move from your core and take the Pilates principles into your day to day life. “It doesn’t end when the class ends. That is the best part. Your body begins to crave it.” Most recently Stephanie has created a Reformer & Mat teacher training following the Classical repertoire. It is an incredible program helping others to become instructors. We are excited to watch this program grow.
